Dr. Steele earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, San Diego followed by master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Alliant International University (California School of Professional Psychology). She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Oklahoma Forensic Center working with patients receiving competency restoration treatment and those adjudicated NGRI. Dr. Steele’s work has included forensic evaluations in a jail setting (i.e., trial competency, conservatorship) as well as medicolegal evaluations, including for those who may have PTSD.
